The Brent McKown Memorial Learn to Fish Day has traditionally been a fishing derby for young children, where the McKown family has generously donated fishing gear to every child who participates. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the derby portion of the event could not happen this year so instead the McKown family will be at Pennwild Outdoors on August 19th to hand out fishing gear to children in an effort to promote youth getting into the sport.
- Open to the first 50 children registered.
- Each child must be registered either by filling out the form below or by calling Derek McKown at 814-489-3110
- Must be registered by July 10th to qualify.
- Children must be between 2 and 15 years.
- Children must be accompanied by a parent / guardian when picking up their equipment.
