Trout Unlimited Sporting Clays Shoot

Yearly Sporting Clay Shoot

Every year the Cornplanter Chapter of Trout Unlimited does a sporting clay shoot as a fundraiser for the organization. This is a fun day of hanging out, shooting the sporting clay course at the Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club in Clarendon, PA. The clay course has 100 targets but only 50 are included in the $25 fee. Shooters may shoot the additional 50 if they choose at a reduced rate.

Included in your $25 fee is a homemade lunch provided by the organization members. The lunch includes delicious chili and cornbread, some deserts, and a drink. Also, for the shooters entertainment, there will be fly tying demonstrations all day.

Trout Unlimited and its member groups like the local Warren County Cornplanter chapter, are a cold water conservation organization. The proceeds from this fundraiser goes to the local chapter to be used for these programs. Some of the programs that the Cornplanter chapter participates in are Trout in the Classroom, stream restoration, and trout spawning ground surveys.
