Why am I out there stomping through a snow laden forest or standing in thirty-five-degree water all day if not to recount legendary tales of big bucks and monster fish?
Every year the Cornplanter Chapter of Trout Unlimited does a sporting clay shoot as a fundraiser for the organization. This is a fun day of hanging out, shooting the sporting clay course at the Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club in Clarendon, PA. The clay course has 100 targets but only 50 are included in the $25 fee. Shooters may shoot the additional 50 if they choose at a reduced rate.
This three-day course reveals the all secrets of fly fishing, from setting up your equipment, tying knots, identifying aquatic insects, determining where fish lay in a stream, and selecting a fly, casting and fishing it in a way that leads to success.
